Terms and Conditions for HygieneHack App

Welcome to the HygieneHack App, a mobile application designed to help dental hygiene students track their academic progress for completing clinical course requirements. By accessing or using the HygieneHack App mobile app (the “App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
- Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and using the App, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an institution or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of the institution or organization.
- Registration and Account Information
In order to access and use the App, you must register an account. During the registration process, you will be required to provide certain personal information, including:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The name of your academic institution
- The course name and semester you are currently enrolled in
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, and to keep this information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information, and you agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
- Use of the App
The App is designed to help dental hygiene students track their clinical progress in completing course requirements. You may use the App only for the purposes for which it is intended, including but not limited to tracking:
- The number of patients completed in different age categories
- The number of patients with periodontal classification, calculus build-up and special needs or medically compromised patients treated
- A variety of treatment procedures required for your dental hygiene course
You agree to use the App in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and academic requirements.
- Data Collection and Privacy
When using the App, you will be required to enter certain clinical data, including but not limited to:
- Patient’s first name and last initial (for privacy)
- Dates in which patients are seen in the clinic
- Details of the treatment procedures performed
This data is used solely for tracking your progress in completing the clinical course requirements and is not shared with any third parties. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as insurance, credit card, social security numbers, or addresses.

- No Sharing of Academic Data
Your academic grades, performance, or any sensitive information related to your academic standing will not be shared with your academic institution or faculty through the App. The App is solely intended to help you track your clinical requirements.
- Restrictions on Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App, including through the use of viruses, malware, or any other malicious software.
- Use any automated tools, including bots or scrapers, to access the App or gather information.
- Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unauthorized use, or acted in a manner that is detrimental to the App or its users.
- No Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties or guarantees. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the functionality, accuracy, or availability of the App. You use the App at your own risk.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the HygieneHack App and its affiliates, partners, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of academic performance, arising from or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HygieneHack App, its affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
- Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We may also update or revise these Terms at any time. When we make changes to the Terms, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country in which HygieneHack App is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
